My last post for this time

A beautifully hazy pre-summer sky....

From my little town...

just before it was too late...TULIPS!

Trompe l'Oeil II

"My" garden and terasse.

Well, the house next-doors is one that we take care of, and manage as we see fit. Todat was a lovely day in the sun. First doing some minor work on the terasse, and then planting a lemon-tree in the garden, as well as sunbathing... A good Sunday!
ENJOY with me!

Datura by the garden-"shed".

Fountain. It needs a new pretty faucet/spigot. I'll see what I can find second-hand...

The newly planted lemon-tree. With the owner's gin-tonic in mind!

My best helper! Ever!

Trompe L'Oeil...

Look carefully!

Welcome!

Once upon a time...

somebody built a house. And fenced it in. In the fence this was put to display....

There are more to follow. I wonder who he or she was, that decided to have such an elaborate fence made. Artists? Someone who just liked the sea-food theme?...

More Spring!

Oh well... I tried to put these pictures in a certain order, with no luck at all! Anyway,

In abandon, is also beauty.

Very vibrant. The sun does help!
A favourite of mine, and also for me, the epitome of the south. The Plane tree. PLATANE.

Also abandoned....

... or very well kept.My mountain!

 Neglect at its best!
Deep down below the street I found a garden with these lovely peonies.... Beauty!

And ofcourse, the Fig tree. Now budding, the leaves are hardly there to see yet. But soon...

Mr. planted this...

last spring. They've been blooming ever since!

Weird stuff!

I don't know what to say really. These bees are on a wall of a newly built house. They're HUGE...

I like bees, but still....

Finally...

in every sense of the word. I found my pictures, and my mood, and Spring just sprung the way I want it to; sunny, balmy, flowery... I'm alive again. And so's my computer, which makes it so much easier to maintain this blog. Enjoy with me!
Rosa Banksii, one of my absolute favourites.

Tiny, tiny flowers, but such a big perfume!

A natural bower, with the beautiful mountains behind.

My kinda colour. Hot Pink!

A pretty mixture of what's typical for the region; "Arbre de Judée", olive, and again, Rosa Banksii.
More will follow...
