Sweet September

I was lucky to get away in time. Believe me, I love autumn, but it seems it never comes when it should, and when it does come it's just wet and grey. To me autumn is crisp chilly mornings, a nice cold tang in the air, colours, sunshine, new sweaters, hankering for those soo expensive boots... But I digress. This is mainly a photo-blog, and all this patter is supposed to lead up to how I left the North for the South, how it was, and how it is now. So...

after a surprisingly pleasant ferry-trip, and a smooth ride through Denmark, we arrived i Tönning, Germany.

As picturesque as anyone could ask for! Having passed through Germany more times than I care to count, without ever seeing anything this was a treat.

I'm definitly going to visit this coast-area again. Who would've thought it?
There are no pictures yet of the home-coming. Home is home, and one sort of just slips right back where one belongs. That's good, but still, I think about our little house, and our garden...
A quick re-cap maybe...

peonies, pretty weeds, and that tree I just forgot the name of..."sureau" in French...

I finally got a black one!

Granted, I got carried away here, but they are pretty pictures, n'est pas? And this is only half of what I wanted to show. Well... more next time.
